Custom Deck Builder · Northern California
Decks are structural. We build them like structures — proper footings, engineered framing, code-compliant railings, and top-tier decking materials that survive California sun.
Framing That Outlasts the Decking
Pressure-treated framing is standard; steel-framed decks are our specialty for elevated, multi-level, or fire-zone builds. Every deck gets stainless or hot-dip galvanized fasteners so nothing rusts through your finish material.
Ipe, Cedar, Composite, Aluminum
We install ipe, cumaru, cedar, thermally modified ash, high-end composite (TimberTech, Trex Transcend), and aluminum decking. Cable, glass, and custom steel railings included.

Answers to the questions we hear most.
How much does a custom deck cost?+
Custom decks typically run $65 – $180 per square foot depending on framing, material, and height above grade. Elevated hillside decks with steel framing sit at the top of that range.
Do I need a permit for a deck?+
In California, any deck over 30 inches above grade requires a building permit. Elevated decks require structural engineering. We handle both.
